Liora is a high-end dermatology & aesthetics clinic, based in New York. We were approached by the founder, leading dermatologist Dr. Rhee, and tasked with developing a brand to articulate the clinic’s purpose.
Liora was founded on the belief that it’s time for a more welcoming approach to dermatology. One that looks beyond perfection to see the beauty in reality and makes the clinical warm and personal. This in turn inspires the kind of body confidence that lights up their clients’ world and nurtures their inner glow.
Through a series of consultations, we worked closely with Dr. Rhee to extract the essence of the Liora brand and articulate this in an emotive brand purpose, which illuminated the beauty within everyone. We then developed a visual articulation of the brand that delivers strength and positivity through simplicity.
We defined and outlined Loira’s full brand platform, including vision, mission and values along with an externally facing strapline — Nurture your natural glow — that appears on all Liora communications.
Clients already saw the practice in a positive light, so it was important to reflect this warmth in the brand, while retaining a minimal, luxury aesthetic that would appeal to high-end clientele.
To avoid a cold and clinical feel, we deliberately moved away from black and white and towards a palette of soft pastels and warm blacks. This formed the basis of the new brand and allowed us to confidently and effectively deliver the new brand purpose. To further enhance the brand experience, all stationery and printed collateral was produced on a soft, tactile, ivory stock.
