Kingsbury Press is one of the world's leading creative service printers, with an unrivalled reputation for quality, craft and precision. We continue to be their chosen creative brand partner.
In addition to developing their core brand, we have been instrumental in strategically repositioning the organisation on two occasions, as the business has evolved and expanded. In recent years, we have focused on positioning Kingsbury Press as ‘the only printer to the luxury, real estate and automotive sectors’, helping to truly capture the essence of the brand proposition – The Art of Print.
Taking inspiration from physical art gallery spaces, we developed a new minimal logotype and stripped the brand back to a monochromatic palette of black and white, allowing their client work to come to the fore in vibrant colour throughout their online gallery and printed material.
Following the rebrand Kingsbury Press rapidly grew their customer base within the desired sectors and now supplies books, brochures, invites and more for global brands including: Ferrari, Berkeley Homes, Bentley, Givenchy and Graff Diamonds, to name just a few. To support this growth, Kingsbury Press have also opened two new showrooms and office spaces in London and New York.
The Kingsbury Press name is now synonymous with high quality, sector leading, marketing materials that truly engage with their audiences. Over the years, we have developed hundreds of marketing touch points: from simple mailing cards to announce a new website, through to launch materials for the new offices in London and New York and most recently a 460-page master portfolio book.
To enhance customer interactions with the brand, we have also developed a range of premium packaging solutions that bring a sense of craft, care and attention to detail. Through each stage of the customer unboxing experience, the brand is delivered through tactile and graphic brand articulations that reinforce the luxurious nature of Kingsbury Press’ print. This includes protective tissue paper wrap, custom seal stickers and unique cotton drawstring dust bags for samples, which preserve and protect each project like a work of art in its own right.
With more consumers accessing digital content on mobile, it was important to create a responsive website from the start. We designed and developed an opulent online gallery that mirrored our offline brand thinking and monochromatic palette. This enabled the vibrant colour of the brand project gallery to punch out and provided the perfect stage to showcase the meticulous quality of the work.
While the website provides the optimal experience at desktop screen sizes (due to the high quality imagery), it also delivers an immersive experience on tablet and mobile, thanks to custom content for portrait screens and smooth interactions across all platforms. To experience the website first hand, visit kingsburypress.com.
To distinguish the brand from the crowd we recommended Kingsbury Press invested in high-quality studio photography instead of the DIY alternatives favoured by the competition. The finished portfolio currently includes over 100 hand selected projects, each with a blushing bank of high-definition images. Every piece is meticulously curated and captured, to hero the product and showcase the art within Kingsbury Press’ growing gallery of work. We continue to work with Kingsbury on the management, art direction and creation of all product photography.
Kingsbury Press have always been at the forefront of print innovations, developing and disrupting the market with the introduction of new technologies and print finishing solutions. These include K-Bind®, the ultimate lay-flat binding method, and KolorEdge®, which allows the edges of books and brochures to be finished in an array of colours and foils. We have supported Kingsbury Press in the launch of these services, delivering the brand identity and marketing materials for each.
